1. Who we are

This app and website (“Kryptan Alerts”, “we”, “us”) are operated by Kirill Mikhaylov, Berlin, Germany (full contact details in the Impressum). For privacy questions contact support@kryptanalerts.com. We are the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

The app requires no sign-up: no name, no email address, no password. When you first launch it, an anonymous account is created automatically.

• Anonymous account ID — a random identifier that ties your settings to your device. It is not linked to your identity.
• App store receipt — used to validate your purchase when the account is created. The receipt comes from Apple/Google and contains no payment details.
• Alert & watchlist data — the coins, price sources, thresholds and holdings you configure.
• Push notification token — a device token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to deliver your alerts.
• Technical data — limited request metadata (e.g. IP address) processed by our hosting provider to operate and secure the service.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and this website sets no cookies.

3. How we use it and legal basis

• To provide the service — manage your account, store your alerts and deliver notifications (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract).
• To keep the service secure and reliable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interests).

4. Sharing & sub-processors

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that operate the app on our behalf:

• Google Cloud Platform — hosting and database.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivery of push notifications.

These providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Retention & account deletion

We keep your account and alert data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time directly in the app: Settings ▸ Account ▸ Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent; any residual copies (e.g. backups) are removed within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention. If you cannot access the app, email support@kryptanalerts.com and we will delete the account for you.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@kryptanalerts.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
